Can you overdose on a placebo? Or rather, can you believe yourself to death? If I gave you a bottle of "sleeping pills" which you used to "commit suicide" would your mind trick itself into permanently tuning out? Perhaps you would slip into a coma. People have done that in the past (I'm looking at you, Buster Bluth). An experiment is in order. Volunteers may be hard to come by, so I'll have to be clever.
